Overview
Angle valves for washbasin are essential components in bathroom plumbing systems, designed to control the water flow for washbasins. Installed between the wall and the water inlet pipe, these valves allow users to adjust and shut off water flow conveniently, making maintenance or faucet replacements easier without shutting down the entire water supply system.
Manufactured primarily from brass, stainless steel, or zinc alloy, these valves provide excellent corrosion resistance and sealing performance, ensuring long-term durability. Chinese faucet factories utilize advanced automated production processes to ensure precision and consistent quality, offering a wide variety of designs and customization options to meet diverse market demands.
Installation Steps
Measurement & Selection
Before installation, measure the thread size of the washbasin’s water inlet pipe to ensure compatibility with the chosen angle valves for washbasin. Common thread sizes include 1/2 inch, 3/8 inch, and 9/16 inch, so selecting the appropriate size is crucial for a proper fit.
Tools Preparation
Prepare essential tools such as a wrench, PTFE sealing tape, and a screwdriver to facilitate a smooth installation process.
Shut Off the Main Water Supply
To avoid water leakage during installation, turn off the main water supply before proceeding.
Install the Angle Valve
Wrap PTFE tape evenly around the threaded section of the angle valves for washbasin to enhance sealing.
Align the threaded end of the valve with the pre-installed water inlet pipe on the wall and rotate clockwise until secured.
Use a wrench to tighten the valve, ensuring a firm connection while avoiding excessive force to prevent thread damage or leaks.
Connect the Water Supply Hose
Once the angle valve is installed, connect one end of the washbasin’s inlet hose to the valve outlet and the other end to the faucet.
Tighten all connections to ensure proper sealing.
Testing & Adjustments
Turn on the main water supply and slowly rotate the angle valves for washbasin to check for leaks.
If there is no leakage, the installation is successful. If leaks occur, adjust or add sealing materials accordingly.
Maintenance & Care
To prolong the lifespan of angle valves for washbasin, conduct regular inspections to check for loose connections or leaks. Prevent limescale buildup by periodically opening and closing the valve, especially if it has not been used for an extended period.
Chinese faucet factories implement strict quality control measures in producing angle valves for washbasin, ensuring high durability and safety. They also support bulk orders and OEM customization, catering to global customers with diverse requirements.
