(I) Precautions Before Product Installation
Before installing the shower set system bathroom concealed rain bath, be sure to carefully read the product manual to understand the product structure and characteristics. Confirm the condition of the bathroom walls and floor. The walls should be flat and sturdy, and the floor drainage system should be unobstructed. At the same time, check whether the water pressure at home meets the product requirements. Generally, the suitable water pressure range for this system is between 0.1 – 0.5MPa.
(II) Required Installation Tools
The following tools are required to install this shower system: electric drill, wrench, screwdriver, level, PTFE tape, tape measure, etc. The electric drill is used to drill holes in the wall to fix the components. The wrench and screwdriver are used to tighten screws and nuts. The level ensures that the installed components are horizontal. The PTFE tape prevents water leakage at the joints, and the tape measure is used to accurately measure the installation position.
(III) Preparation Steps Before Installation
First, turn off the main water valve at home to avoid water leakage during the installation process. Then, according to the product manual and the actual layout of the bathroom, use a tape measure and a level to mark the installation positions of components such as the concealed thermostatic mixing valve, water outlet control panel, and ultra-thin overhead shower on the wall. When marking, ensure the positions are accurate, and the distances between the components meet the design requirements. After that, clean the walls and floor at the installation positions, removing dust and debris to ensure a clean and tidy installation environment.
(IV) Standard Installation Process
Install the concealed thermostatic mixing valve: Use an electric drill to drill holes at the marked positions, embed the embedded box of the mixing valve into the wall, and ensure that the embedded box is horizontal and firm. Connect the cold and hot water pipes, paying attention to distinguishing the cold and hot water interfaces. Generally, it is hot on the left and cold on the right. Wrap PTFE tape when connecting to prevent water leakage.
Install the water outlet control panel: Drill holes at the corresponding marked positions, fix the base of the control panel, connect the control lines to the mixing valve, and then install the outer shell of the control panel. Ensure that the panel is installed flat and the buttons operate flexibly.
Install the ultra-thin overhead shower: Drill holes at the corresponding positions on the ceiling, install the overhead shower bracket, fix the overhead shower on the bracket, and adjust the angle and position to ensure that the water evenly covers the shower area.
Install the multi-functional handheld shower: Install the fixing base of the handheld shower on the wall at an appropriate height, connect the hose of the handheld shower to the mixing valve, check whether the connection is firm, and whether the handheld shower can be used normally.
(V) Usage Testing and Inspection Key Points
After the installation is completed, turn on the main water valve at home and check whether there is any water leakage at each connection part. Observe whether the water flow is stable, test whether the thermostatic mixing valve can accurately adjust the water temperature, and check whether the water outlet modes of the overhead shower and the handheld shower can be switched normally and whether the water flow distribution is uniform. If there are any abnormalities, turn off the water valve in time for troubleshooting and repair.
(VI) Common Installation Problems and Solutions
1.Water leakage problem: If there is water leakage at the connection, it may be due to insufficient wrapping of PTFE tape or loose joints. You can re-wrap the PTFE tape and tighten the joints.
2.Unsmooth water flow: It may be that there are impurities blocking the pipeline. You can remove the showerhead for cleaning, or check whether the water valve at home is fully opened.
3.Abnormal water temperature adjustment: Check whether the settings of the thermostatic mixing valve are correct. If the problem persists, it may be a fault with the thermostatic cartridge, and you need to contact a professional for repair or replacement.
(VII) Safety Tips and Maintenance Suggestions
During use, avoid frequently adjusting the water temperature to prevent scalding. Regularly clean the nozzles of the overhead shower and the handheld shower to remove scale and ensure the water outlet effect. Check whether the connection parts are loose at regular intervals and reinforce them in time. If not in use for a long time, it is recommended to turn off the main water valve and empty the water in the pipeline to prevent the pipeline from freezing and cracking or rusting.
