Recently, the reporter learned from the Nan'an Municipal Bureau of Statistics that in May, the city's resumption of work and production showed results, and major indicators such as industrial output value and added value above designated size showed a steady trend. From January to May, the cumulative output value of Nan'an's planned industries reached 136.023 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.3%; the cumulative added value increased by 5.9% year-on-year, ranking fourth among all counties (cities, districts) in Quanzhou.
The growth of the industry is considerable. From the perspective of national economic industry classification, among the 32 major industries involved in the city, 24 industries achieved positive growth in output value from January to May, with a growth rate of 75.0%, and the industry growth rate was considerable.
Judging from the growth rate of the five major industries, from January to May, the stone ceramics industry completed an output value of 51.132 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.6%; the electronic information industry completed an output value of 6.12 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.1%; the mechanical equipment industry completed an output value of 27.916 billion yuan , an increase of 3.6% year-on-year; the output value of the plumbing, kitchen and bathroom industry was 7.119 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 19.7%; the output value of the daily light industry was 42.806 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1.6%.
